What This Tool Checks

Each job type has different weather thresholds. Painters care about humidity and dew point. Roofers care about wind and wet surfaces. Concrete workers care about temperature range and rain windows. This tool applies the right checks for your trade.

How is the safety score calculated? +
Each job type has a set of specific rules (e.g. "humidity below 70%", "no rain in next 4 hours"). The score is the percentage of rules that pass. 100 means all conditions are met; 0 means none are. The go/caution/stop verdict maps to 80+, 50–79, and below 50.
How accurate is the hourly forecast? +
We use Open-Meteo, which aggregates NOAA, ECMWF, and other global models. Hourly forecasts are typically 85–90% accurate within 24 hours. Always cross-check with a local radar check for jobs that can't be paused mid-project.
